Mocean Surf Peniche and you

Please read the terms and conditions carefully, as you will be accepting when booking our services:  

• The client acknowledges that there are inherent dangers associated with surfing and surfskating. Client participation in this lessons and other associated activities may involve injury. No refunds will be made in the event of an accident or other injury during classes.

• Mocean Surf Peniche retains the right to change its offer/service in cases of majeure force, such as government regulations, third party delays, weather and ocean conditions and similar extraordinary/unpredictable situations.

 

• When Mocean Surf Peniche provides equipment to any client for a surf and surfskate lesson, and guarantees that the equipment is in good condition. The customer is responsible for the equipment provided by Mocean Surf Peniche and must deliver it under the same conditions. The customer will be charged for damaged or lost equipment.

 

• During the lesson, the client must obey all instructions from the surf instructor and must not disturb other participants or interfere with the surf instructor's ability to conduct the lesson in a safe manner. Mocean Surf Peniche has the right to exclude any client from the surf or surfskate lesson who does not comply with these terms, without refund.

 

• No customer can participate in a lesson at any time if the instructor suspects that he is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This client may be excluded from the class without refund.

 

• The Client declares that he does not suffer from any medical condition that could prevent him from taking surf or surfskate lessons and other services provided by Mocean Surf Peniche.

 

• Mocean Surf Peniche instructors regularly participate in safety, first aid and lifesaving courses, in accordance with Australian or European standards. All surf lessons are given by certified instructors. We operate with trained surf instructors who carefully choose surf spots that match the surfing level of the participants, thus keeping a low risk of accidents and injuries. Thus, Mocean Surf Peniche is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur during surfing and other services provided.

 

• In the event of an accident or injury, customers are responsible for their own medical costs.

 

• Mocean Surf Peniche recommends giving prior notice of the expected surf conditions, however it is not responsible for bad surf conditions. Even if the surf conditions are not as expected and are reflected in the performance in the lesson, it continues to count as a surf lesson, without any refund or repetition of the same.

 

• Participants must follow the instructions given by Mocean Surf Peniche at all times during the class.

 

• In surfing and other activities provided by Mocean Surf Pencihe, we can film or photograph each client for use on social media, website or promotional videos.

 

• At the time of rental, or prior to the first surf lesson, the client must sign a liability waiver.

• To join the Academy monthly deal you must pay 50€ as a deposit to use on the second month.
